A New Mobile Point-of-Sale Application

Project Context

With nearly 20 stores, 2,000 employees, and a 600,000-square-foot distribution center, the Brault & Martineau Group (BMTC) has long dominated the retail furniture market. To modernize and increase sales, BMTC developed a portable digital sales tool connected to the catalog of all its stores. By the end of the project, more than 450 advisors were using this new mobile application daily.

The Mandate

Develop a customized, connected mobile application to facilitate order processing, deliveries, inventory management, product search, consultation of options, promotions, warranties, and transaction finalization. Additionally, deploy Teams telephony to enhance communication for 450 advisors and train an internal resource to ensure BMTC’s autonomy.

Results

Nearly 450 advisors across BMTC’s 20 stores use the new application daily, effectively communicating through Microsoft Teams. With its user-friendly interface and well-thought-out functional ergonomics, the application was rapidly adopted by all advisors.
